This Art Is for My Students Only
I'm old school.
However, anyone who pays me to teach them martial arts is a student--it's that simple. The longer they remain a student, the more I teach. Is that easy to understand?
Well, I have come to the realization that we teachers meet our students in the most unique of places. Among them, the internet. As a result, where lessons once might not have been shared--we are sharing them now. I consider anyone who wants to learn from me and are willing to pay for my services to be worthy of sharing my style and trade secrets...
Oh, you thought I was referring to martial arts secrets? Well, yes, I was. Martial Arts secrets are, in essence, trade secrets. These techniques, rules, and philosophies which were once closely guarded and witheld for the most deserving of students--tend to die off with teachers because of the limitations of the pool of students we choose from. Teachers wanted to keep their information in-house in order to prevent the competition from gaining insight into what they are doing. In modern times, however, we realize that arts cannot grow with only 5 - 10 people knowing them fully. Teachers must broaden their range of students.
I am no different. I have satellite classes on opposite ends of America, and still have difficulty finding students. So I extend my reach through my books. By purchasing thekuntawman books, you will receive many of those lessons. Believe me--you won't find this information being taught in any seminar. These books contain my trade secrets.
